Special Purposes Fund

The Special Purposes Fund (SPF) supports the Church’s religious, charitable, educational and civic purposes beyond activities under the normal operating budget, via management of both endowment and general funds. It accepts both direct donations and donations from estates through Planned Giving.

Current members of the Special Purposes Fund Committee are Andrew Appel (Chair), Licia Weber, Ruth Aydt, Bill Lonnberg (UUCB Treasurer) and Steve Mascari (UUCB Board At-Large).

Contributions to SPF may be made through:

Members and friends can make a request for SPF funds via the linked form. Per our Bylaws the fund was created for "religious, charitable, educational, and civic purposes" but cannot be used "to pay operating expenses of the Church." It helps to have the support of a minister, staff member, or task force for your request. Matching funds may be available for fundraisers.
