Worship Associates Volunteer Description

Worship Associates work with the Lead Minister to creatively and practically support the worship services of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington.

Elements of Worship Associates’ roles may include:

• Working with the Lead Minister to create and implement services
• Providing ongoing feedback concerning in-person and online worship experiences
• Suggesting guest speakers including congregation members and diverse voices from the community
• Evaluating proposals for lay-led services
• Supporting guest speakers or lay-led services (to include framing the service with readings, etc. if the Lead Minister is away)
• Providing additional voices for stories or readings
