Be a part of a team that makes coffee and tea possible on Sunday mornings.
Do you enjoy talking and connecting with friends and welcoming new faces over a good cup of coffee? Are you looking for a hands-on volunteer opportunity to keep you busy before or during the service? In this volunteer position you serve our community by making social time possible for one or both of our Sunday morning services.
Community Hour shifts start at 10:20 am for the first Community Hour and 12:20 for the second Community Hour and last for approximately and hour and a half.
Volunteers replenish supplies as needed, wash used mugs; and those working the second Community Hour ensure the space is cleaned up. There are ideally 2-4 Java Crew volunteers per service.

This is a great volunteer opportunity for those newer to the congregation as well as long-time members.
This opportunity will enable you to:
- Interact with a wide variety of congregants.
- Provide hospitality to Sunday attendees.
- Build community with other crew members while serving our church.
Volunteering for the first time? No worries! You will receive assistance from experienced Java Crew members. All that you need to get started is also included in this detailed instructions sheet.
