Campus and Young Adult Ministry
Unitarian Universalists at Indiana University (UUIU) is the campus ministry group of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington. Students and other young adults (18-35) are welcome to join in our on-campus meetings, as well as various social, service, and spiritual activities that take place off-campus. Our young adult programs exist to help carry out our congregation's vision of Seeking the Spirit, Building Community, and Changing the World. Many young adults get involved in other aspects of congregational life as well.
UUIU gathers on the IU campus weekly for an hour and a half Spiritual Exploration Group. We celebrate the mystery of Life, support each other, explore spiritual beliefs and practices, find insight and inspiration in sacred texts and other sources, and take time for centering experiences. The group provides a weekly opportunity to find balance and connection, while sharing and developing your personal spirituality.
During Fall 2012, the Spiritual Exploration Group is meeting Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Poplars Room at the Indiana Memorial Union. If you are a young adult (18-35) and you are interested in spiritual exploration, we invite you to come check us out.

All young adults (18-35 years) are welcome to attend our Young Adult Lunches that take place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Meet us outside of the sanctuary after the 11:15 am service. There we will determine as a group the best place to go out for lunch somewhere within the town of Bloomington.
An important part of our UU experience is in giving back to our communities. Past community service includes:
- Volunteering at a New Orleans rebuild spring break service project.
- Adopting a trail at Griffy Lake.
- Volunteering at the Habitat Interfaith Build.
- Donating a Holiday Food Basket to a family in need through Monroe United Ministries.
