Farewell from the Ministerial Search Committee

It has been an exciting 10 months of discovery and discernment for the Ministerial Search Committee. In this process, we got to deeply know our community, our wants and needs and explore what a new ministry could look like. We finally presented Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray as our candidate and we are delighted that the congregation ratified her calling with a 100% yes vote. She will join the congregation sometime at the beginning of August.

So the Ministerial Search Committee now says farewell. We thank you for your support, your participation in the search process, and your trust in us. We also thank the UUCB staff and board, Reverend Grant, the UUA Transitions Office, UUA Regional Staff, Women Writing for (a) Change for hosting some of our meetings, and everyone who helped host events during Candidating Week.

We are delighted in the congregation’s decision to call Revered Susan Frederick-Gray and see a bright future for UUCB.
